The shrimp squat is an advanced single-leg squat with the free leg bent behind you.
Standing on one leg, bend the other knee and hold your foot behind you with the hand on the same side.
Lower yourself on the supporting leg until the back knee touches the floor, then push back up.
Lean your torso forward for balance. To start, do not hold your foot and lower yourself onto a cushion.
