Active suspension teaches how to engage the shoulder blades before a pull-up and strengthens grip.
Hang from the bar, palms facing away at shoulder-width, arms straight.
Without bending your elbows, lower your shoulders away from your ears and slightly draw your shoulder blades together: your body moves up a few centimeters. Hold the position.
Do not bend your arms and do not swing your legs: all the work happens at the shoulders.
